We drive Winnipeg to Revy at least once per winter. Leave at 6pm and have breakfast in Calgary. Then to Revy and ride that afternoon. Couple more days then home to reality.
I use the Scott goggles with fan, Put them on, turn fan on hi for a few minutes then onto lo and good to go. Bit of a pain each time you stop but i can see now, not riding bu brail as someone else said!
Toyo AT's on Sierra now. As above, don't think mileage will get that high before worn out. Anybody on here try the Kelly Safari TSL? Looks like a great tire.
My 2010 Assault kacked on me coming down off Boulder. Noticed the gauge cluster go out a couple times first. Changed voltage regulator and working good again. Now realize voltage had been quite high on display for some time prior to failure.
I had the EGR cooler and valve off my LLY doing a valve set and took a few minutes to build some blocker plates and a support for the intake. After seeing all the soot and gunk in intake, EGR had to go. Sinister kit would have been easier.
My riding buddy and i both purchased the Snow Pulse vest style. Heavy but lots of room to pack gear and shovel on the outside best for guys like me that are using shovel a lot. Never had to deploy so far.
Just returned from another great stay at Peaks Lodge. Alec and staff were great as always, he even spent a day showing a couple prairie boys a local of the beaten track area. Awesome again. Thanks.
