Just seen this and confirmed with restaurants in Valemount, so guess were packing food for Easter, microwave style. Feel bad for the restaurants, I was at the Moose in Valemount on Saturday night, speaking with the waitress, they had a maximum of 50 people and they have many empty tables, and crowds at doors. Tables were empty in west side where pool tables were. I always left a good tip as I knew this could happen anytime.

Valemount - Cariboo Grill will be closed with no takeout, just spoke to a nice lady at desk, currently there power is all out. I'll try the Moose soon, and the Grizz in McBride.

What a joke, no big outbreaks in restaurants but hey let's close them down....
Same as the 10 person gathering limit. Bonny Henry stated they didn't use any Science or numbers to base this limit on but just decided that was a good number...

The Grizz is already closed for all of April in McBride, so Raymond will be busy with take out at the Kilin

The Moose in Valemount isnt open until tuesday, I'll check with them tomorow evening and post.

There is a SUBWAY in Valemount, and only the petrocan with some eats in McBride

Not this weekend. Hopefully going April 10-11. Only bonus to having restaurants close is maybe it will cut the numbers of riders down. Nobody work anymore??? At least the weather is good for bbq. Might have to pack the pit boss and do a wing night. Also have a ooni for pizza.

Was at the Moose this past Friday Vale was super busy,Snow was excellent but light was very poor came home a day early.

Is there some evidence over the last year of COVID, that dining in at restaurants is a significant source of spread?

That's the part that I'm still confused about. How can we be a year into this, thousands and thousands of government employees dedicated to COVID, and it's not public knowledge where the infections are being spread.
