Ya the puxing uses kenwood stuff. It's super loud and really clear. I have speaker mics for my rinos too but they are low quality for sure. Like the tracking feature of rinos but love the volume and the range of the Chinese radios.

where did you pull all your channel info from for your CSV file? I would like to add some stuff to it, but i can't find info as detailed as you've provided.

yea I read through it but the link is broken for the file. I'd like to know where he gathered all the detailed info and add a few more channels for myself locally.

Finally figured out yesterday that my Avi beacon was keying my boefeng.
Not sure if it was interfering with my beacon broadcast or not......

Yes it will. Beacons must be at least 30cm away from radio. Even cell phones will cause intermittent issues. If you have your radio on and your beacon slides towards your radio it is possible to get static. There are several good research studies of the showing the interference electronics can have.

When we took our last avalanche course our instructor took us to a vacant lot close to high voltage hydro lines and let us turn our beacons on to try and locate one another. Not an easy task. Just another reason for the radio to be in your pack and a shoulder mic to be used.

Re: Frequency List/CHIRP Image for Sledding & Baofeng Radios

Guys I was one of them who made a csv file for Chirp. If you want it I can send it to you via email. Also I found a mistake on my csv file that you will want to fix if I sent you the file. Sorry. The mistake is in the frequency for RR-4. The frequency should be 150.185 I found all the frequencies on https://www.radioreference.com or good old Google. I just bought some more Baofeng GT-3TP radios. They transmit 8 watts on high setting. They worked great for me last year. I am using the smaller shoulder mic and it works great. I put my radio in my back pack. I rode all day in rain and wet snow last year with the mic on my shoulder. I thought it would be wrecked for sure. I was surprised at the end of the day it was working just fine.

Thanks for putting together that list, it really saves a lot of time programming each individual channel.

Re: Frequency List/CHIRP Image for Sledding & Baofeng Radios

any one know which RR channels are primarily in use around golden, revy, sicamous? I can't seem to find an accurate map. Just trying to eliminate the amount of channels stored on the radio. I believe Sicamous area is 8 or 9? I will laminate the frequencies so I can type them in but I would like to not have to do that all the time.

They are all used for the most part, there are only 35 channels and there is over 100 memory locations why wouldn't you just load them all instead of messing around on the road?

programming in on the fly will get old quick. I don't know if your area is like mine but we have a few RR that change channels 2 or 3 times before you get to your destination. If you accidentally program a chan in wrong your going to be flying blind. This is one of the reasons they frown on programming radios on the fly

Make sure your r-ctcs and t-ctcs are "off" if trying to use the RR channels
