Picked up a 2016 Ltz 1 ton duramax today from the chevy farm. Great dealership. This thing rides better than a 1/2 ton, they have come a long way on these.
The f350 has a blown motor, will be putting up for sale soon.

Very nice. Just wish they would go with body colour or black mirror caps, and trim around windows. They used to be then went chrome on the slt and ltz . Costs a fortune to change it all .

Does that truck have a built in prep for a 5th wheel hitch ?
A buddy sent me these pics.
Not sure if all the GM haulers come with them or not .

Chev has the option for the 5th wheel like dodge does now. I tried to get it in my truck but it didn't happen. You can go aftermarket with the puck system now as well.

yes Paul it's fully equipped with those as well as a second plug in the box. Also has a 200 amp alternator and a second 150 watt one. I have to order an adaptor kit and my hitch will mount in minutes. There are several other trailering provisions as well.

Beauty, you won't be dissapointed, the LML has been a great engine. Probably a good time to get one with the new duramax being released shortly.

Doesn't even have 300 km and it's getting all muddy, working in the yard. Just keeping the mud out of the cab.
So far I see a lot of neat functions. It works well with the iPhone, the I phone apps show up on the navigation screen then it has talk to text. I have to refer to the instruction manual just to adjust my mirrors, lol.

You can send directions to your truck too using the on star app. I like the car play for maps and texting too. works well most of the time. I put the 3rd tank of fuel in today. estimated mileage was 960km. Never saw that in the dodge.

$50k? I'm thinking more like in the $80k range for a one ton Srw diesel. Paid $83k for my 2015 f350 and was just quoted $94k for a new gmc one ton Dulley.
It getting silly.
