I can see why people will be dissapointed with the 2012 due to the insane rumors for hp/weight etc, but really for the price they are the same if not a little cheaper, did shed some weight, better handling, and that all black one has me wanting one, how about you buy the all black with a 162 put 450km on it and I'll trade you straight across for my 11:d it has a jaws can, telescoping bars, and side vents :p

Yeah I didn't see anyone else release a factory turbo mountain sled this year?

BRP did the expected last year with the 800 etec, a few minor tweaks this year...

Polaris had their Pro RMK last year, a few minor tweaks this year...

Cat brought to the table what many people were asking for.

I might have to go check out a show room when those things arrive.

I know for a fact that they can get more than 177 HP out of that turbo. Aftermarket will have a hayday with that one. Will have to see what they look like in person before I start getting to hard for one.

Pretty sure reliablility is being factored in here...Of course you can make more power, but can you do it with the same reliability???

Im just impressed that a manufacturer would step that far out on a limb to offer one to the general public...

After speaking to several ppl they were supposed to launch a cross between m8 and m1000 perhaps a nine at 420lbs and 200hp. 17k for a 177hp sled is insane especially when you can add a turbo for 5k to a stock m8 and enjoy 250+ hp.

Maybe I don't know anything but from the factory a stock turbo sled is cool. I was hoping they were going to unveil a 200hp m8 at 420lbs that would have been incredible with a price tag close to the 2011s

It would be nice if their online brochure was viewable..

So - if a stock sled is 175hp is this tested at elevation or sea level? I thought turbos produced insane #s? What is the weight on these new machines?
