Any fixes for wireless charging I phone 8 in new GM trucks? Cradle is too small for phone.

I have always used a cable with my iPhone 7plus phones. I saw that you could get a charging case but it is kinda big. I like using car play as well, vs blue tooth.

My truck has a cradle built into the console for charging. But the cradle is too small for the 8plus.

Haven’t seen an iPhone yet that will charge in the GM cradle. The only one I’ve seen is my dads old HTC and it worked slick.

Yup anything Samsung S7 or higher with the fast charge won't charge either. Gm got behind the phone technology.

Gm charging system only works for android, you can buy a special case/cover that allows you to use the charging system. I was pretty bummed out to figure this out also on my 17 dirtymax

Correction. S8 does work. Tried my wife's in my 2016 dmax. My S7 won't though. Something with the fast charge in it I guess. S6 will work also. I don't use it anyways though as I have a booster cradle.
Will be sweet when they come out with a wireless charging one of those.....

unfortunately no. I have the same as you and spoke to GM dealership and they explained it has something to do with the rate of charge in milliamps

That sucks! How can a guy get noticed like a "pro" but cannot charge his iPhone in his truck! Haha
