As of last Saturday Whitecourt trails were in excellent late season condition, Alex went out grooming yesterday. Still a couple of feet of snow in the bush.
All depends on the weather this week.

Alex was grooming again today too
I think as long as the weather hangs in the weekend should be good to go

There are 4 of us that will be going up that way on Saturday as well. 2 experienced riders and 2 not so experienced riders (wife & girlfriend). Wondering if we need to go as far as Fox Creek, or if we can find some snow near Whitecourt? Let me know if you want to meet up.

as of this evening, its around -2 and a little windy, but looks like good riding. some parts of swan hills got 6 inches of snow yesterday. there's been a fair bit down in the past couple weeks. was warm for the first part of this week and now its getting cool again. should be good riding.

I am wondering if it would be smarter to head to the Virginia Hills Road to find snow, or if there will be enough to satisfy us around the Eagle River trail area. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

We went north on Hwy 33 and found about 1.5 to 3ft of Snow

Crusty on top because of warmer temps but once you found untracked snow
it was a blast
We found a slough bottom and it was challenging
Thanks for the help in getting a nice spot to go to
Take a GPS and have fun

birdie:)
