I am planing a trip to Shuswap area, where should i stay??? We are thinking of riding Owl's Hear or Blue Lake.

Give Joe Schmucks Roadhouse a try. It's the old Alpiner. They've redone the restaurant and are in the process of re-doing the cabins. Rumor has it there's plenty of new snow.

I just got back from a Sicamous trip, and we stayed at the Best Western. Clean rooms, reasonably secure parking, and a sledder rate. I've also heard good things about the other options posted.
Have a good ride.

We stayed at Joe Schmucks family day weekend. Great cozy cabins, great food, and way too many Begbie Creme Ales! We will be back! Did I mention great hosts as well? I highly reccomend!

Just got back from a weekend at Rene's and it was awesome. Had a great time sledding and a huge thanks to his Guides John and Jay for showing us around and digging us out!

Be back next year for sure!!!

Stayed at Joe Schmucks and had a great time. The cabin set up is great and I cant say enough about the food. A great time all around.
