and to answer the question when to start riding last yr. we had been on a ride before the Calgary snow show.

Just talked to my son a few minutes ago and he told me he was a few miles down the highway from those pics unloading the company sled on Oct. 8th. He rode from TCH#1 to the top of Mt. Fedelity in the Parks through 40cm of bottomless powder. Looks like another storm blowing in early next week.

but the riding makes up for it

We ride Nov. 1 every year. Never wrecked a sled and never had anything less than a few feet of fresh. Can't be luck cause it's been the same story every time.
