You going to show ol dave whats what, lol, Although high speed on the ice is dangerous. You having a longer wheel base would fair better than a short wheel base quad. Hitting the ice heaves lol

Loaded 'er up and plowed snow out at the (unfinished) acreage....gotta make sure the contractors can get in there. I think this is the longest I've ever ran it without stopping for a beer.....hahahaha.

Yeah well, i quad all winter! ..lol.. and here in the mountains i have never used studs....till this season.. its not the hills that are a problem.. giver gas and you go right up them even is there icy...but it cornering that i think is affected a lot... so i decided to stud my spare set of bighorn 1's that are on a spare set of rims i have... i have heard that these are the sh*t.. but are expensive.. will never rip out and takes years to get dull.. carbide tip.. even if you ride on ashfault... that's what lots have told me that run them.. here is a pic...

You won't be disappointed with the studs. They work great on ice. I installed the screw in style ones 200 per tire last year.

A man who makes you proud,
The kind if man who makes you strive to be a better person.

Had the ranger out in 30 inchs of fresh snow....
Went well , never got stuck once. The 30
Inch monsters are pretty dam good in the white stuff!!!

Was pushing snow over the hood all afternoon...., need a windshield lol.
The torque on the 900s is unreal, wide open
In low all afternoon and never skipped a beat....
Of course the Outkast arched a arm
Lift helps a lot. With 18 inchs of clearance , we were not hangin up
On much underneath.

On a side note:
Got my pick up stuck and this thing pulled it out up
Hill..... Very impressive to say the least.
Anyone looking for a sxs take alook at the 900 rangers , with a little work they are a beast !!!

Gade, did you ever do a thread about the 900 ranger build? I was busy farming all summer and fall and probably missed it if you had one.

Bout time ya got that beast out for a rip, not the fastest, but likely the nicest riding machine and all the torque in the world to pull daves front end right off that brp rig of his. Haha. Sorry dave not brand bashin just givin ya the gears. lol. Neville i can say i have had a lot of fun rides this summer, the ranger has done nothing but provide smiles since purchase. i'm done with quads. Can't see ever riding one again. The ranger has been nothing but a positive experience since august. Thanks for the heads up

How many Kms you fellas have on these 900 xp's?
What kind of problems if any with them to date.
They look like a good all around SXS if a person was looking for one.
I am a BRP guy but don't like what they have to offer.
Like the bench seat, motor behind you and some of the other things the xp has.
Spill your beans? Lol

sorry i can only comment on my own experience.
so far i am very happy, goes anywhere, quiet, lots of power, pull the front end off any brp product out there, hehe. very nice ride, not a speed demon, it gets a little narly as the speed gets up there. rzzr gets better riding as the speed increases( or any of the performance SxS). has tons of power(torque) quiet, you can talk to your passengers(seats 3).

JUST PLAIN RIPS.

Hey Guys:, Good to hear you guys are having a blast with your Rangers, this is first winter with a sxs for me, with all the snow we got recently, wondering if i am going to have much troubles with my stock big horn tires in the snow with my commander , did get to drive a Ranger before i made my purchase, and it was my inspiration to buy a sxs , had no problems with it at all, other then commander had a more comfortable seat, and was on sale, including a 2 year extended warranty, ( not to mention , the wife's influence which i wasnt gonna let go of) ;). having a blast with it , only problem i have with it, someone put the trees to close together at times.

Got it stuck yesterday. The BRP Flexplow is amazing....but 4-5 feet of snow drifted between packed windrows and I was DENIED! I was able to lift the plow and blast through with wheelspeed to the other side...then I got stuck over there. Much swearing. I need a snowblower.
