BIG THANKS to Valemount and Frozen Pirate Snow Services! Our group had a great weekend, fresh lines to be had for 3 days.... Took a tour with Graham and learned a thing or two! Allan Creek never disappoints!

Well the driveway wouldn't be an easy turn around and they are pricey... 4 nights was almost 13K lol, we had 5 couples and some kids in the place though... a weekend I will never forget!

I asked the girl at the Days what am I getting for the extra costs over the years. It’s not like they are doing massive Reno’s constantly. She had no answer. They will charge what the market bears and the market is hot right now. Definitely a lot less sledders staying there than there used to be. We like the fact it’s close to Zalas and seems to be a safe parking lot for many years now. Don’t have to worry about your rig not being there in the morning like Super 8 or Best Western

Yeah its looking really good. Too bad getting accommodations for next was a flop this year.

We been going for day rides, leaving Edmonton at 4 am. Only had hotels twice so far and not riding as much as well with the conditions that the start of the winter brought. Seems to be fairly decent now though.

We always come out for a week in March... wasn't able to make things work this March unfortunately... I wish I could do day trips to the hills... be a lot more miles on the toboggan.

Does anyone have a good map of all of the managed and unmanaged areas in Valemount? I used to have a decent one but cant find it and their site has changed a bit...

Lots of areas untracked. 8 to 10 inches in open areas, in the trees approximately 18 to 20 inches. Blue bird day.

Nice little reset overnight. Went from green grass to about 8cm in town and still snowing. The Allan webcam looks decent https://ridevalemount.com/webcam/

Looks to be a warmer temps and clear weather ahead. Great time to explore terrain!

Morning S&M folks, out in Vale this weekend, had an issue yesterday with our 2017 RMK 800 pro overheating, checked with Alpine for replacement thermostat, no luck, wondering if anyone around town might have one to purchase to keep the wife riding this weekend?
