bought a RX1 With alpine turbo kit and first run this winter cracked the header. My understanding this is a common problem, just wondering what some other guys have been doing to fix/prevent this from happening again?
Is it the older style or the new 4 in to 1? The new one is much better. I may have a couple of the older used ones that would get you by. I could get Alpine to heat treat them and coat them for a good deal.
yeah its not cheap. the first one to crack was the old style with the two middle pipes joining before the collector. i had a second header biult by someone which is very similar to th enew style that Alpine provides which also cracked.
