Training for my 13 year sledder son??????

I am trying to sign my son up for a avalanche training in Fernie on Feb 15/16 with COTR but because he is 13 he can't get in???? WTF!!!! He is a sledder that's it What does age have to do with...WTF

try Zacs Tracs I know they are slated to be in Fernie this season. Not sure who COTR is, but it could be that they want you as the parent/guardian in the course with the 13 year old as well.

Agree go to Zac's. My son is also 13 and we completed our AST1 together this past weekend. Great training.

Not sure who COTR is,

College of the Rockies. They go out of their way to avoid any hint of liability. Suspect that may be the issue.

I got a hold of CAC and they agreed with me so they called COTR to get it changed. so now my son can take the training with me. That's great
