Looking for some 20" tires for my new ride. Would like Duratracs as I have had them on my 1/2 ton for 60,000kms now and love them. Will be going to the mountains and don't want to use chains so would be nice to have snowflake on sidewall. What can you recommend?

I currently have 100,000km on my dura tracks. I have ran a lot of tires, BF, Pro comp, Mickey, Toyo, Hancock, cooper, and the duratracs are far superior then all the other tires in all conditions except rain. Not a great rain tire but an incredible snow tire. Duratracs all the way. I will be purchasing another set here right away but would like to see just how many kms I can get out of these things. The rate they are wearing I'm guessing I'm good for another 20-30

I bought Fierce Attitudes for my truck. Getting good mileage out of them so far. But this is the first winter with them. Everyone says they are a good winter tire.

I sell the duratracs by the truckload, they have quickly become my most popular tire, by far. I have some specials coming up for VARDA riders and sledders in general. Pm me if your interested.

Sounds about right...my brother just replaced his after almost 45000km and they were done...He liked them enough though that he bought another set.

Duratracs and allterains are a softer rubber and that's how they are r.a.c approved for winter.

Hockey puck ( mud tires have no place on the roads in winter ) and don't realy understand peeps that drive trucks and pull trailers with them.

Well I guess when Ur off the road its cool to put chains ( if u have them ) on while I drive past with my winter tires

I wouldn't buy them again. Sure they're great in the snow and mud. But I figured I would get more than this outta them
They're not as soft as blizzacks so I figured they would be good all year round. Guess I was wrong

I used to like them...... then I ran them a lot lol. I swapped from some Uniroyal Laredo H/DT that was on this truck to them in the midst of winter and found them no better in the snow than the Uniroyals were. Mud yes they are decent and I give them that. They are starting to cup pretty bad on my current truck now too...... and I rotate them frequently so I am not impressed there. I am going to run something else when these wear out, which won't be long. I had them for 100000 kms on a previous truck but never ran anything different to compare to them. They didn't last 100000 kms either, the truck had 2 sets on it in that time.

I love my Dura tracs they are awesome!!! I have 305/55R20 and they are studded work very very good. I have 2 sets of rims and tires so it is possible to stud them for me, but i will always stud my winter tires now after driving with these.

i also just run studded duratracs for winter on my trucks, i usually get 50 000-60 000kms out of them on diesels. gas trucks maybe more. plus you can get them in "E" rating

Being that duratrac's are softer I've heard guys with 2500-3500 and diesels dont get the mileage out of them, but I have them on my half ton and have around 30000+ and they look brand new. For me their not that great on ice or snow due to the truck being lighter but once in 4 wheel or have some weight in the truck, nothing can stop me.

On my fourth set on the company truck which is a 2500 gmc 6l and I average about 45000 with about 1000 lb of tools and material. Also gravel roads beat them up pretty good from being so soft.
