Tire size?

Have a dodge 2500 gasser 2007. I have stock tires in it which are 265/70/17. Would like to know what tires one can go with for increasing the tire diamiter so it's taller, but would like to keep the width close to what I have now, and must fit the stock rims.

Was looking at the 255/80/17 size

The 265 is your tire width. The 75 is the ratio to the 265 so any tire that is 265 plus a large ratio, like 80 or 85 will give you a taller tire with the same footprint
