Spring / Summer 2012 Railline ride to Nordegg

Ya well I guess i could take a group and hadster one.

But kind of defeats the purpose.

It's from Horberg to nordegg.

Don't think the one way and other ways going to work.

It's still the idea to ride to nordegg and stay at a hotel then ride back the next.

Otherwise u would have to camp at Saunders and ride to Horberg and back one day and then ride to Nordeg and back the next.

Not my idea of fun

Yep horburg to nordegg and back for sure...I remember getting split up into about three groups last year, or was it just two....of course then there was the rather thin riding group on the way back...LOL

However if this gets split up into both a mid week trip AND a weekend trip, that should thin the herd quite a bit!!

My ride would have to be a weekend one.

Also I'm thinking that someone should check the harlick to upper shunda way to see if all the creeks ect where the bridges were is passible

Ok I let you know when I try make it out..I know a guy who works shifts that can go mid week.

U do ride a po po and there are bears, cougars, wolves ect...

It's a long walk back.

Mabe barrow a real quad to do it

I'm in! I had a hoot with you guys last year. June 2nd/3rd would probably work fine for me.

A large crew probably wouldn't be that bad if we didn't take a break at EVERY hill, 'cause what would normally turn out to be a 5 min wait (for everyone to cross) ended up being 20-30 min every time.

Smaller groups is a good idea, but hard to make work. With different riding styles & abilities sooner or later everyone bunches up anyways when the first group stops and others catch up.
