Snow Conditions In The Pass

any up dates on snow cond. in the pass for this weeked a bunch of us from Drumheller are heading down to the pass tonight weather wise they call for 5cm over night

we are heading down there today will post tonight when we get back
last week it was great

down there today staged from atlas a little thin in the parking lot
but still great conditions on the trails some fresh snow further up the trail
some fresh powder to be found around the north shelter .... some nice drifts to be found as well ... planning on heading down again next week

What were the conditions like in the pass this weekend? How were the trails holding out with all the warm weather?

we staged at atlas (muddy ended up just parking on side of road) north trails sill good shape went over to mcgillvry
fresh snow up top untouched.... trails good ... never made it to the north shelter .. trail along road toast might have to park further up road ...sorry no pics

there is a short cut you don't have to ride the road

are you talking the one that heads south and comes up a bit further
.... actually the part i was talking about was just after that the trail that runs along the side of the road ( not on the road itself ) had major bare spots ... we just turned around there and found some other stuff to play in
