About an hour or so to the ride from here marker when there is lots of snow. When there isn't you must drive further in. It's 42 Kms to the burn from the ride from here marker. It's actually northeast from PG out through Willow River or you can access it from the Bowron FSR east of Purden Lake.

We've got a HEAVY snowfall warning in the Cariboo/ Central Interior, been snowing and blowing all day.....should make for an awesome first ride!! Peeps from out of town be aware of the closures....trails aren't marked. Happy sledding!!:)

Was up the there today, some fresh, burn was a bit icy, trail was decent good day overall. Also saw a helicopter pick up a dead sled out of the first bowl..was interesting.

Come on guys, don't be so hard on the Doos. The last time I went to the Torpy my Doo did not have to be lifted out of the bowl. Actually it died at KM 10 so it was an easy pull back to the truck. LOL

Yesterday the Torpy burn was terrible, trail in was rough, trail up was glare ice, and stumps in burn are still sticking 6 ft out of the snow. No fresh snow and all tromped down.

Thanks for the update! We haven't even bothered making a trip out East yet. Definitely need a good dump of snow before we bother heading that way. The Burn doesn't sound too appealing being glare ice!! YUCK!!:i_need_snow::i_need_snow::i_need_snow:

Thanks for the update. We need snow here really bad!!I just not sure if snow will help on The Burn with it being shear ice.
