We were not aware the CAC had sent out a severe warning this weekend but our training made it painfully obvious so Bigdoo and I played safe all day but I still managed to trigger a small slide that pushed me into the trees, we were fallowing a cut line through the trees when I came to a small slightly convexed
hill side aprox 100' across and 25' to 35' high I new there was a chance it could let go but the risk of injury or being buried was not there so we proceeded Bigdoo stayed back, I got 3/4 across when it let go.
We were in the Bull River area up the Wildhorse River road behind Lakit Lookout.
Please use your heads and play safe.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the people involved in the avy at Turbo.

Glad your OK, you should go on the CAC website and report that. This really helps them on there predictions and awareness.

Yes I will be doing that for sure. I was going to email them and ask what info they want as far as depth, size. slope and location.
Thanks Ron.
