Mountain across the lake from me is on fire. I'm not seeing much sign of winter yet.

Saw a flock of geese a formed up at quite an altitude. If they haven't started moving it was a pretty impressive and convincing practice run

I have been seeing small flocks daily. Need to stop at post office and get my Migratory stamp....

Yup, 6 - AT802F Fire Bosses and 3 - A Stars. Dumb azz boaters wouldn't get out of the way so they banned em from the lake.

Seems to have worked so far, but it's not weekend yet. $1150 fine for those who ignore it. Expect enforcement!

Traditionally, this is the weekend that the long pants come out and the summer shorts are put away. Doesn't look like that is going to happen for awhile yet.

With our dry hot windy conditions during the day the trees are shedding super fast if they don't have water.
