I have a Shocker Hitch(google it), I think it works better than an equalizer, has anyone out there had any experience with one?

I also have one... Love it!

When paired with Air bags (Spring Helpers) it is so much better than an equalizer hitch.

A great product!

I have heard they work really well too. I think the thing you have to worry about is putting too much weight on a bumper hitch and being confident in its ability. I was talking to a shop last year about this and they said they see between 4-6 bent hitches per year because people figured there vehicle was not sagging they were ok..... air bags and air hitches work great but do not forget to keep an eye on tongue weight.

There's no way that thing is a suitable replacement for an equalizer hitch. It doesn't distribute the load at all and there's no rebound control on the airbag. All the stress is moved back to just behind the ball on the trailer tongue. You'd better hope that part of the trailer frame is up to the task.......
