Shell oil on sale

That time of year again. Shell advance synthetic onsale this week at Canadian Tire. 20% off so $47.99 for a 5L jug even though the website still says it's a 4L.

Is this stuff safe to use with variable exhaust?

I just answered my own question. Went and picked some up. Right on the back it says "Designed for use in snowmobile engines, pre mix or injector, particularly those high performance engines WITH variable exhaust"................

The VES Gold I was buying was $139.00 for 10l. This just came to $95.98 for 10L. $44.00 bucks in my pocket, nice!!!

THX for the heads up!!!

Now my only question is do I mix the oils or run the VES Gold out to as low as I "safely" can before adding the Shell.
(Will the machine tell me my oil is low????)

And no, the Yamaha oil doesnt make my Cat as heavy as a tank............

I use the synthetic yami-lube as well Terry had cases of 4 x 4L on sale last year at the open house for $101 case, hopefully he has the same deal this year I'll buy 2 cases and that will keep both sleds going all season....

I used to use the shell synthetic on the summits, 2400km after my rebuild I was still @ 150psi per hole so I have nothing bad to say about the stuff...

never buy anything at cambodian tire unless it is 50% off or better... the oil is 20% this week will be 40% next week and maybe even 60% the next....

Stil too much money.

As I have said before I use co-op xls synthetic oil. Same specs as shell, brp ect.
35.00 ish for a 5 l jug.

I was thinking that this wasn't as great of a bargain as what I recall getting last year!! Trouble is that when it hits 40%, it flys off the shelves fast!!
