rzr lube list and parts #'s

I was looking around for some ideas of some other filters and oils that could be used in my rzr and came across this list on a different forum. I thought I would share it incase there is some other noobs like myself that want some more info on these things.

These questions come up alot so I thought this would be a good idea.

Polaris Fluid Requirements:
( Lube-Tech blends Polaris Lubricants. Lubrication Technologies: Advanced Quality Lubricants and Fuels )

Front Gearcase Oil:
Polaris Demand Drive LT Premium Fluid
6.75 oz. (200 ml)

Transmission Oil: Main Gearcase
Polaris High Performance AGL
24 oz. (710 ml)

Transmission Oil: Transfer Case
Polaris High Performance AGL
14 oz. (414 ml)

Rear Gearcase Oil:
Polaris Premium ADF
26 oz. (769 ml)

Engine Oil:
2008: Premium 4-Cycle Synthetic OW-40
2009: Premium 4-Cycle Synthetic 2W-50
2010: Premium 4-Cycle Synthetic 2W-50
2011: PS-4 PLUS Synthetic Engine Oil
Oil Capacity w/wet engine 1.9 qts.
OEM Oil Filter - #2540086

Polaris 60/40 Anti-Freeze / Coolant
Coolant Capacity 4.8 qts. / 4.5 liters

2 - 5/8" wrenches or socket/ratchet
1 - 3/8" wrench or preferably ratchet/socket/extension
1 - # T-27 torx bit
*Needle nose pliers
*Knife
*In case belt shreds

Are there alternatives to the polaris brabded fluids as there really expensive and I'm sure oil is oil and theres is not that special!

No there isn't. Polaris owns their own oil company and produces lubricants that are NASA grade. You must use Polaris special lubricants or your machine will go into a self destruct mode. Hahahahaha.... All kidding aside. You can use whatever brand you like as long as you match it up. I once had an old polaris mechanic from a reputable shop tell me to just Run ATF in my front diff of my RZR. So that's all I did. 3 RZR's later still haven't had a single problem with a front diff. This is my experience. I'm not giving advise.
