I can't get my 2011 163 x to rev above 7400rpm its not a clutch issue, I tried adjusting the clickers it made no difference sled would hit 7400 then start bucking spitting and sputtering from 7000-7400 no codes came up on the computer. any one else having this issue?????

I had a similar problem on my 2010 only the rpm was a little lower, like around 6500-6800. It was a tear in the boot on one of the reed valves. Replaced them and haven't had a problem since. just a though and something for you to look at......:xmas2004_15:

When is this happening? When on the trail? When climbing? All the time? Does changing the clicker yield any changes in RPM at all? How many miles on the sled?

Don't the newer xp's have a break-in mode, they don't give you full power range until a certain kms or hrs are met? Don't qoute me on that but i seem to remember a guy riding with us last year having that problem. Is this sled brand new?
