Can anyone tell me the best way to get to the rolling hills? We made it up the pipeline last year, but because of bad weather we didn't get much past the cabin, do I just keep going? Or is there a better place to stage, last year we were at the tin shack.

The tin shack is fine...I assume you road to the Coal Leach road and up over top....if you made it to the cabin that way you need to back track a bit...when you head towards the cabin there is a split in the trail at a hair pin corner..you head towards the cabin...about a half mile in on your left are a few trails that head to the rolling hills...there are a few signs...but once you are in it can get confusing and you should have a compass if its socked in...

Made it

So we made it into the Rolling Hills today (Suday Dec 10th)....
Bluebird day with warm teperatures and stilll lots of fresh turns. Pipeline was a little rough, but the snow itself was great. Be careful as there are lots of big creeks still open, some 2 sled lengths long and probably over 1 ft deep. But worth it. Great Day all around.
