Reverse on a 580 EXT

What's involved, beyond adding a control somewhere? I'm assuming the chaincase would have to be changed... to a planetary drive? Or is there a gearbox involved somewhere else?

i think it just the gears and couple other things inside not familiar with the cat .check ebay for parts we picked up every thing for a summit on there cheap . pretty easy to do . i seen a whole kit for a cat on there couple months ago .
