hi guys. i just picked up a new big gun pipe for my rubicon 500. i have gotten mixed reports of rejetting after just a pipe. i have been told that you definately have to if yuo pipe it and k&n it but some have said only if you do both. then some have said yes for the pipe alone as well. wanting to know becuase i dont want to "learn" jetting in my cold garage before my ride sunday. thanks in advance.

On a sled it's about 2-3 jet sizes bigger or richer, so on your quad i would try 2 sizes bigger meaning whatever jet # you have in there go up by 10's x 2
They sometimes come to rich from the dealer.:twocents:

I would plan on jetting it. You can do it by getting a few sets of plugs and trial and error. The appearance of the plugs will tell you if you are too lean, to rich or just right.

Just an FYI, your better to run on the rich side IMO. Lean will cause things to get hot.
