overheating polaris

my 1993 polaris xlt is overheating
waterpump and belt are good
what pressure should the rad cap be?????????????

i believe that is should be at 13lbs, you may have a leak somewhere, check if you can see any coolant in the bellypan or on the snow and check all hose connections as they do come loose every once and a while.

did u recently change your fluid? or maybe lose alot of coolant than add some>? because, my xlt, when i changed the coolant in it, you have to elevate the front end of the machine so fluid flows to your heat exchangers, then you idle your machine and keep adding fluid til its fully topped up. if you dont do this you will have air bubbles in your coolng system and it wont circulate.but this is what i do and it worx.
