The snow has been rained away off the trees at the ski area to 1700m+.
We need some actual ride reports dudes!
Looks like a classic sh*t sandwich, with cold air trapped low, mild air moderate elevation, blah, blah, blah.

seeing the same as me :(

be nice if the yamaha cam could show us temp and be a way closer to the snow pole...like the ski hills have.

Castle mountain has a great one!

Hearing horrible reports from Boulder.

Rained to 6000', its going to be cement with the freezing temps. That is going to be disastrous for the rest of the season with all that recent snow sitting under that layer.

The guys that got to ride the past 4 days lucked out and had some awesome November pow. Now being told to just stay home. What to do, what to do...

Are you there riding? The guys I know there are already on their way home.

Unless you are there riding then you don't know what you are talking about.

Schaede even said it was the worst day he has had riding in 25 years.

Oh feisty! LOL as post said Up to you.
Mark can say that stuff on any given day!
Depends on how many stucks and crap shows he is taking out, especially when I ignore some of it as a tail rider.
if a sled gets smacked up he can lose it.
But you probably know this already.
Thanks for the great info and updates though. Very informative!
Avalanche is at High and should expect it to climb in the near future.

Yeah relaying reports of guys actually riding is useless I suppose.

No worries I have no problem keeping ride reports to myself from now on.

Enjoy your winter.

Cheers.

Well guys, we left peaks this morning. Wish I could say we made the cabin but we didn't. Used 3/4 tank of gas, made it maybe 3 km past the bezanson turn off up the veidman. Also made it about 3/4 km up the bezanson. There were several stucks where the handle bars were level with snow. 163 xm' struggled on flat ground. Top foot of snow was very very wet. A lot of shovelling happened, would post a few pics but don't know hiw

I had back to back meetings from 7:00 until 2:30 then I got to sit through an evaluation that spelled out ALL of the areas I can improve my overall performance. I'd love to have ridden today!

Lol. No kidding.

Saw a good handful of sleds in the cam at lunch today.

Damn, I didn't even take a peek today on the cam.

Can't believe how many times Hwy 1 has been shut down with these forms few storm cycles already. Yikes.

Ya we got the saturated snow as well, made for a lot of frustrating stucks even for the 174's and turbos!

Today was awesome, a little warm made the snow heavy but the turbo viper ate it up! Yes we got stuck but a lot less then the T3 we saw lol a good honest 4' of snow with a soft 3' base made for hard riding conditions couldn't make Super Bowl due to lack of vis. It's never a bad day when your riding!
