This has probably been on a thread already. But I would like to know if there is a advantage to using either one of these. Thanks..

oil is oil...
I suggest sticking with the OEM until the warranty is up
and then afterwards whatever floats your boat.
I use the shell synthetic product from Crappy Tire
and I buy it when they put it on sale. I am very happy with it.
If the smell is what drives you, you can pay a bit more for others.
if viscosity is what you are after, I hear that Amsoil flows better under
extreme cold, but I would like to see proof of this one.

Depending on dealer there is no problem with useing Amsoil from knew. I bought a knew sled and dealer had no problem covering Amsoil under warranty.

I run Amsoil in everything. I buy it by the Barrel, I spit it with my brother. I would suggest everyone to do this. 3-4 guys per barrel thats 10 jerry cans. My last barrel worked out to $8per liter, for Amsoil Dominator. Pretty cheap IMO

Thanks, all some good points. I used to always say oil is oil. But since these machines cost a few dollars I want to buy what is best so I dont have any problems.
At the end of day your ride will cost maybe $2.00 more. I do use the Amsoil, it doesnt have that smell, in the past machines some of that oil was unbearable for smell while idling the machine. Cheers

I use the Shell synthetic as well. It's been on sale twice this year so far at CT.

Shell syn only for me. I trust it and have no justifyable reason to switch to another brand. So far so good. Don't care about smell as that is an issue for the guys behind me :d:d:d
