North side of lake Isle or Morinville

Hey Guys

Just got an almost new honda and want to take it for a spin with the wife. Does anyone know of any good trails located on the north side of lake isle or that are around the morinville area?

North of Westlock ,Long Island Lake has some great riding!

On the north end of lac isle approx 10km west of Darwell there is a snowmoble trail that crosses the highway heading north that open up in to a nice grid of cutlines to ride. I go out there every second weekend and it is just starting to dry up enough that you can ride bikes in there but there is still lot's of skeg if that's what you are looking for.

Oh and it is not a snowmobile only trail it is open to all ohv's and there is a sign on the highway warning of snowmobiles crosing so you should have no trouble finding it.

Stay away from the lake and the cabins as some are atv friendly and some aren't.

Head west of Darwell on 633 and it is 1km past RR 55 on your right hand side there will be a gravel road where the snowmobile crossing sign is take it and less than a km down the road it dead ends into the snowmobile trail. Follow the snowmobile trail, it crosses one gravel road and continues maybe another km and there should be an cutline intersection every km or so after that.
