Just wondering if anyone knows of another good place to camp in and around Nordegg basically between Rocky and Big Horn Dam that one can do some riding out of. Either bush camping or camp grounds that allow ATVs.

Are both these places (chambers or saunders) accessible this weekend? Seeing that bighorn trails are closed, I'm wondering if it's as wet??

My preference would be saunders to go too, a bit farther but way better

Lots to check out, baby grave yard, old tunnel to walk down, trail bridge... When u go down the hill at the sharp corner there is spots there, if u keep going there's lots more spots down a a few more corners and a big long straight away

When talking spots you are talking about bush camping correct? How busy would this area be on July long weekend would one have to go in early like Thursday?

Yes it's all bush camping , saunders used to be a camp place ( the one area) years and years ago...

Will be busy, but get the good spots and ur far enough away from the lab rats...

Yes bet Thursday would be late to get a spot

Just about anywhere out there will be close to full by Thursday nite, Canada long weekend is the worst lol

Yes Tex. I was in there last year and looked at bridge and well site.
Bridge was a bit rough but I believe it may be repaired.
We where looking at reclaiming site at that time but has since sold to another company .
