no tach when running

2003 rev 800 no tach when running. I have tried another working tach as well as speedo and still nothing. Would any one have some tips or possibly votalge tests to see if I have some damaged wiring.tach lights up speedo works fine.

You may have already tried this but did you trying replacing the relay on the belt side that goes into the instrument harness?

Are hand grip warmers working? If not its probably that relay. Wifes 05 had the same problem.
