newbie saying hi and looking for newer sled advice

Hey just new to the board here found this place while looking at a trip to mcbride. Anyway i havent had anything good for sleds until last year when i picked up a 2001 rmk 600 and a 99 indy 500 for the wife. Decided i want something better this year so now i've been hunting around a bit. So far ones that caught my eye are

New- 2011 rmk 600 with a 144 or 155 price range 9500-10500 (i thought they'd be cheaper for a 11)

Used
2008 polaris dragon 800 159" 2500 miles $6700
2009 polaris assault 800 1900 miles $5500
2009 dragon 800 830 miles $7000

There was a couple others too but nothing wowing me. I really like the assault but after reading i'm kinda scared about it, the 11 600 looks nice but i'm thinking i may be dissapointed with the power (although i'm fine with my 2001 rmk). Basically i'm never on the trail usually off playing, hill climbing, and i plan to do maybe 2 trips a year to the mountains. Any advice? How would i know if something already went wrong internally on the 800's? Thanks for now guys.

I really have no preference actually. I love yamaha but i dont like their new stuff, i've had older ac's and they always gave me trouble and buddies have newer ones and they havent been great all around. I dont mind doo's but the prices seem higher and it seems the xp's have had problems? Also seems like the 800 polaris had problems too but it was apparently a snow injestion thing that could be fixed? LOL basically i know nothing haha.

Thanks for the welcomes, now help me decide on a new sled so i dont come back with a sled that sits broken all year haha. I suppose i should start a thread for that though......but since your all here anyway lol.
