not sure what your getting at, it is the same motor as the original installed motor, iso grease in the bearings that must be checked and replaced regularly, do you think it will last forever. will likely get 2500 to 3000miles (5000km) anymore is a bonus or maybe less?

a maybe less. sometimes a guy just can't get a break. almost seems like a guy would have a better chance on the lottery. if he had the brp shop install motor he should get a yr warranty. maybe.

brp shortblocks have a 90 day warranty regardless of who installs it
