Rzr Help

Walk me through rzr's.

Interested in a 570 for the girlfriend however an 800 would be just fine. Not looking to spend a pile of money until she decides if this is for her or not.

Pros cons?
Things I need to know?
Years to avoid?
How ,many hours/km is too much?
Etc


Any help would be appreciated. Im a diehard bike guy, so utvs are foreign territory

I would avoid the 800 and 570 platform completely.
Terrible to work on, ride not so good.
2015 and up rzr 1000
That's what I would recommend, my 2c

570 has about the same bottom end power as the 800 but the 800 has better top end. If you are looking at that type of machine go with an 800 S for the wider stance and better shocks otherwise the ride sucks. That said I would find a few more $ in the budget and get into a 900 either the XP or the 900 S for the extra power and better ride.

Another one that is attractive but rare is the 900 xc a 55 inch fox shox special edition. Still fits in a truck box. I would avoid the original year.

For a nice ride trailing arms are the best.
Our 800 rzr had 6000 km on it.
was a great machine

We had a few rzr’s no issues with any of them.
I really like my hi lifter rzr now

My brother recently acquired this Silverado 2500 and 800 RZR combo. The RZR needs some tlc but runs great overall. We'll just install the new rotors, motiv wheels, and nittos on the Silverado this weekend and we'll check the RZR. Might consider that trailing arms.
