Just to verify something here. Trying to find the clock function but by the looks of it I would need electric start to have the clock work on my 2012 freeride? I push the s button but the clock wont come on the display. One section in manual says the etec should have it.

It's only on models with electric start. Needs a battery to track the time when it's not running. Instead, it has a timer that tells you how long the machine has been running since it was last started.
