Your m8 will easily pull a 174". I had a 05 m7 with a 174" and it was awesome. We have a guy in our group with a 09 m8 with a 174" and its killer. He ran it bonestock last year, this year has linderman porting and head its gonna be a freak. You don't need a turbo to pull a 174".Floatation frees up hp it doesn't steal power.

yup the 2.5" 174 will spin fine with almost no trackspeed loss.

HOWEVER

the 3.0" lug you need some extra power.

So what are we installing here fella's 2.5" or 3"??????

The track is a 2.5 / went to a 9" rear wheel kit over 8",I know kinda long I weigh 220,had no trouble throwin the 162 around, hopen this set up works trouble free? Did some clutch work diff springs & weights the numbers says it should work, but can't ever beat experience. Snow baby Snow!!!

i think the sled tops out at about 72miles an hr. but with 55/60 it will stay there.
