Looking to get cdi re programmed for a 2003 vertical escape 800 polaris

Just as it says in the title Im looking to get a few things done to the cdi like getting the det sensor removed and im just wondering if anybody around calgary area does this or where would i need to send it to? Thanks in advance for the help!

Just purchase the cdi from an 02' it has the aggressive timing curve 28.5 or 29 deg I believe? In 03 they cut it way back. The 02 did not have the DET as well, probibly your beat bet. I don't think they are re programable

Do you know if the 2002 will run reverse? Thats would I would like to keep with it. I want everything but the det sensor

Don't. The 2002 was the 800 engine and the 2003 was the 800ho engine. Totally different cdi's and the 2002's had some serious mapping issues going on. Not a good year.

Do you got any suggestions for what to do snopro? Im running a psi genesis in it and it had no provisions for the det

Their was no mapping issues on the 02! I ran this ECU for 5 yrs, went through 2 of them, No reverse on this ECU however. It was very good ECU. I had zero issues with it. Like I said they cut the timing curve back down in 03' this was because the 02' was cranking out alot of HP and cranks were busting. Simple solution to that problem - engine plate and torque arms.
