I have a KTM 450 sx 2008 that I might be selling April 26th. April 25th I have a specialist appointment to find out how bad I blew my shoulder out. My biking career may be over for a while. It's one sweet bike. Stay tuned.

What did you end up paying for it? Prices are all over the place. I am looking for a 250 but may settle for a 450 if the right deal comes along. Shopping now while waiting for my tax return. Helps me from buying the first bike I see lol.

I just sold a 2007 450x for 4500 it was in mint shape with some xtra's the guy even had the valves looked at and dealership said it was the cleanest used bike they've seen... hope that helps... i wouldn't have let it go for a penny less

I was looking at a $1500 bike to use but now my limit seems to have gone to $4000 to get something in new shape. Found a really low hour wr 250 for close to 2000 so I know the deals are out there

im no mechanic and i don't really finance anything but when i got my 450x i bought new because i was afraid i'd pay 4500 for someone's bike then have 3k in valve work that needed to be done. I was very happy with Honda finance.. I put my down payment down cancelled cable tv for a while and paid off the bike in a year... easiest thing I ever paid off... being that im mechanically slow i think new is the way to go... just my 2 cents... unless you find a private seller that takes the bike with you to a dealer and you pay to have it checked over...

I have never riden a KTM but im leaning this way but i think id go with a 300 two smoker... that bike is set up for best of all worlds... IMHOP... only thing that concerns me about KTM is I hear that the ergo's for taller guys is wierd if your use to the Jap bikes...

I would prefer a new one too but just cant do it right now. If I was smarter I wouldn't by one at all, or stay with the 1500 dollar bike instead lol.

Basically sledding only here. I would love to take out the Aprilia but not gonna happen for awhile now. The snow banks exceeded the heights of the trucks around here yesterday lol.
