So, time to start shopping around.

Any of you fine guys/gals in the business?? Know someone who is??

I hear, as with most things, it's worth it to shop around. Any help would be appreciated.

My wife and I just bought a house and used our mortgage broker. She was quite a bit better than us going direct to the bank. We were able to get 2.25% 5 yr closed variable on 525K. Pretty cheap to borrow money right now. That is thru ATB.

Im a broker with Dominion lending. Five year fixed rates are 2.59% and variable at P - .65...so 2.2%.

Unbelievably cheap money right now.
