long isalnd

i heard they may be changing the quading rules out by long isalnd lake and changing the camping area. has anyone heard or has anyone been out here camping/ quadding this year.

Yeah apparently you are not allowed to ride your ATV's in/out of the campground anymore. Last year when I went you were allowed to ride in the campground. It was probably because of us last year that they changed this.. Oops. Pack of dirt bikers ripping in and out all day for 2 days...

I just booked for the summer and thats the new rules. Quads don't get unloaded in the campground. Now we have to trailer out to the staging area.Heard talk of fences going round to cut off the road access.Too bad,the caretakers treated us pretty decent when we pulled in and stayed for 2 weeks.Even let us use their pressure washer to knock the mud out of rads.
