My new 2010 Dragon. I just got her on friday.
I have ordered a lefty throttle,and a SLP can.
I'll need to get a gas rack, and find a tunnel bag

Ya pretty much, I was looking for a Pro and a friend who works at Bruce's RV called me and told me about the 2 Dragons he had left from 2 years ago. Talked about the price, and made the deal over the phone. Full warranty and good to go :D

Doesn't get any better then that. probably got a good deal to hey? because the new PRO chassis is out, the value of the IQ chassis dropped. What do you plan to do with the clutching?

I got a great deal!!! I haven't thought about the clutching yet, more than likely just keep it stock untill I get a few miles on it. But while were on the topic, what would you reccommend???

Well Me and My dad have the same sleds, and same performance mods. Except he hasn't touched his clutching and it runs great and pulls very hard the way it is (8300-8500 pulling a good hill). I bought mine lightly used at 700 miles, It now has 1100 Miles on it. The guy before me put a Blue spring with pink dots in, this is the spring SLP reccomends when you add the pipe and can. But the guy never changed the weights. So I've been told by the dealership and a guy in our group, to add 68 gram SLP weights and leave the blue spring in. So thats my plans to get my RPM's up around the same as my dads (mine our at roughly 7400-7600 on the same hill). I weigh roughly 50 pounds less than him so weight isn't the case. Plus I can't let the old man beat me!! What has everyone else done to their clutching?

how many people have had issues with there 2008-2010 800s
Mines been good so far. I bought it used, and put roughly 400 miles on it. My dad bought his brand new and has about 700 Miles on it. It's still running great.. Plus everyone in our group owns one and all 6 of them except for one are still on origional motors, all well over 1000 miles

that sounds funny.......well over a 1000 miles......but no where near 2000 miles.....lol......it is bad that they are time bombs after 1000 miles! as for the boosted ones they last longer because they run a fuel box and can map their own fuel curve! that is one thing Polaris just cant get right with their million dollar R&D shop! lol

oh but I used to own Polaris and I used to work on them.......the 2 stroke engines should get an honest 2500-3000 miles......I was not comparing it to a gas and go yamy! I think Polaris now has their $h!t together on the new 800! they should recall every 07-10 800 and build them right! or at least give a fair trade in value to a new pro if they can't fix the problem........sorry! funny how a year old 700 is worth more than a year newer 800!
