Different gear takes different measures to re activate the water proofing. Arctiva gear your supposed steam iron after washing to reactivate

Revbyu,
We would reccomend the NikWax Duo Pack, this stuff is great and extends the life of your gear.

Great thread. I have a coat I like but no longer wear cause it takes on water.
Thanks

Sent from my Phone while sitting on the side of the road.....maybe.

If it is a Klim coat put in for warranty. Go the Klim site/warranty, fill out the form c/w some pictures, copy of invoice and you will get a case number. With that case number Spirit West or Outdoor Approach can doo a water test. If it leaks, you will get a new one!

Pretty simple procedure for a $300+ jacket.
