just wondering how to weld the crank on a 1m. does anyone have any pics tip and tricks? also is there anything else I should do while I have the bottom end split?
you get the crank true as close as you can, and then weld the pins to the webs. Then after welding check for true again, and hammer it out back to zero or as close as you can get it. But before you do that, replace the inner crank bearings/seals, once you weld it, you wont be able to split the crank unless you go to town on it.
