Minus 8 here on the island,I'm working Righton the beach, friggin cold with the wind,came home to get my insulated coveralls while I wait for tide to go out abit, getting tired of this,can't wait to get back to normal 6 or 7 degrees.


That's T shirt weather for the north...j/s

on my way to school we only had a broken paddle more a tree branch than anything. and i don't remember a boat either more a stump than anything.

wood fire is nice in this cold.


there was a lot of fire burn here in the last couple years, i was thinking on trying a few logs, i hear fire killed spruce and pine spark way less than usual. i have been burning dried willow the last couple yrs, been happy so far, seems to be very few sparks and gives good heat. never tried larch though, haven't run into much here,


still waiting on fernie though!!! hasn't even sent free samples yet ? lol.

In fire killed spruce or at fernies all y ou can carry firewood emporium, free beer and bs bar? Best part is for the next few days only the first 50 to pm , get all expenses paid va kay. Just say free beer please to qualify

last yr i went for free firewood and he gave me one piece, about the size of a hockey stick. he had them all counted too. :beer:

Fire killed wood is nice and dense. Lots of BTU's in it. The only problem is all the black soot one has to fight while getting it. I cut some one year and someone else can have it.

It was that sooty! Guess that crap would get all over everything, make a heck of a clean up!

Temp has not been below 0 all week here windy and snow gowing away.

sure hope that turns around, sure would be nice for clubs to actually be able to run their poker rallys this year.
