go pro 4 settings?

whats everyone using for frame rates and settings on your go pro for sledding. I have mine on 1440-30 and wow what a waste of video today it was terribly choppy. im sure last year I had it on something else and it was fine. then for the summer I switched it. I was gonna try 1080-60. what are your thoughts and experiences it quality of video thanks

1080 60 is the most common but your video will seem sped up a bit. 1080 30 is what almost all of the youtube videos you watch are.

Have any of you had trouble with the videos playing very glitchy when transferred to gopro studio? When I watch videos on the gopro itself it plays back normal and smooth and then as soon as I put it on my laptop it constantly freezes and moves super slow and the sound doesn't line up with the video. I am just curious if anyone else has this issue or if its just a settings issue I have. I have a hero 3 black, but not sure it would be that much different.
