Well, it's been about four years since I've owned a sled and an on and off discussion as to whether I'd have one for this season since about February. As of last Saturday, I now own a 2013 800 Summit X 163" with about 2,500 km's on it. It's all stock, came with the jerry can, and has electric start (which I kind of see as a pro and a con). My last sled was an '08 Dragon 800 155" that I sold around December of 2014. I rented a Summit 850 165" in February of last season and rode a friend's Summit 800 174" while in Revy. The 850 was an absolutely amazing sled to ride, but I was very impressed with the 800 too. The 850 wasn't in the cards this season, so I started searching Kijiji to see what I could find for XM's and I found exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an 800 XM with a 163" track and less than 3,000 km's and that's exactly what I got! :) Got it at exactly the price I wanted too. About the only thing I need is a tarp. So if anyone has a Ski-Doo tarp and lives in the Edmonton area, let me know if you'd like to sell it. Here are some pictures of the sled.

Congrats at getting back to it. If you're coming off a draggin and judging by your name an rt1000 you'll love that XM. Looks like it's in great shape.

You and I picked up the same machine, only mine came with tarp and no jerry haha (if anyone has a good deal on a jerry I'm all ears).
I didn't ride mountains at all last season so I am just itching to get going this year.

If you're into preventative maintenance... take your can off and replace the bolts that hold the recoil on to the motor with new ones and loc tite... these bolts break the heads off and fall into the stator, getting pulled in by magnetism and destroy things... if you're really into it, check the stator flywheel inside sleeve for looseness, it can slide and cut the harness. My friend had the same 13X and loved it, my 14X was great too!
