First hailstorm of the year happening now. some smaller pea size hitting us with some rain in a thunderbanger. Rain will do us more good than the hail does harm

Save yourself some grief and do the poisoning in April. Get all the pregnant ones and they are more likely to eat it if there is no green growth around which they prefer to eat. It has worked amazingly for me. Pretty much gopher free now. Cooler to walk as well. Lol

I have a lot of 22LR, 17HMR & 17WSM, just looking for a gopher rich environment.

Anybody get hailed out in the storms the past 2 days? Lots of nasty storms around for sure
Was looking at some of the photos of the hail damage up there. Its nuts. Luckily for us, so far the hail has been north or south of us. South of use got some 2inch hail, but nothing like what just hit up there.

3" of rain last night.
Soil couldn't handle.another teaspoon of moisture. FML.

Between last summers monsoons and the start of this summer so far... same thing. We managed to get our seeding done by second week of May, but pretty much since then it’s been solid water everywhere. Every row is constant muck. We have pooling water on top of sand hills even! What has come up is yellowing fast now. Calling for another 2” or so by Friday here too. It’s been quite the past few years.
