Hi,

Just about to replace the bottom end on my 09 800R. I can purchase a newer crankshaft (100 miles - owner crashed it into a tree) off a 2012 800R Etec for about 1/3 of what I was quoted for a 2009 800R Ptec. Are the two interchangeable or are they completely different?

Just saw a possible opportunity to save some $$$, but if doesn't fit then obviously there's no point.

They changed the Keyway location in 10. From 3 to 12 And then changed the PTO Snout in 12 I belive it was. They realized that they had drilled the crank bolt hole too deep, Making the Snout weak. All cranks from Doo come with updated PTO stub, and new crank bolt. Even my 11 crank bolt was longer than the new bolt. But my Doo Reman was .0095+ out!!!! So updated parts, ****ty rebuild

Ya 10 and up has 1/2 inch less drilled threads in the snout.

Compared it to a 09 a few weeks ago.
